About Colorado Recycles

In November of 2025, Colorado Recycles was established by Andrew Hansen, a longtime supervisor of Colorado's leading residential waste diversion program and one of the Nation's top recycling centers.

Over the years, Andrew met many Northern Colorado residents and business owners who expressed frustration with what they described as limited, overpriced, or distant options for disposing of hard-to-recycle materials, bulky items, and piles of junk. Such comments were set against the backdrop of State-led efforts to increase Colorado’s low waste diversion rates, and to develop a regional circular economy.

With more than two decades of experience in logistics, project management, and waste management, Andrew left his municipal career to help homes and businesses across the region with waste diversion and property clean-ups. Colorado Recycles exists to provide comprehensive and sustainable junk removal and recycling services.
